This auction is for a very nice hard to find classic tale of the Army, a mule, and war games in Iowa during World War II, "Missouri Canary", by Phil Stong, and pictures by Kurt Wiese, published by Dodd, Meade and Company in 1943.

This 78 page board book is in Fair condition with wear on the edges of the cover exposing the cardboard on the edges, scratches on the cover, cover scratches, tear at the top of the spine, and a name and date in ink on the inside cover.
