This auction is for a 5 1/2"x7 5/8" 480 page hardcover book with cover design-no dustjacket, "New National Fifth Reader", by Charles J. Barnes and J. Marshall Hawkes, by Marcus Wilson, and published by American Book Company in 1884.

This book is in Fair Condition with wear on the top and bottom of the spine, name stamp and tape repair on page opposite inside cover, wear on the cover edges, small spot on right edge, front hinge beginning to crack, and lightly tan pages. This reader has lots of nice illustrations in black and white.
