This auction is for a 5 1/4""x 7 3/4" 271 page brown cloth hardcover book with gilt lettering-no dustjacket, "Songs of Unity", "A Selection of Lyrics For Public Worship, With Tunes For Congregational Use", published by Shepard, Clark and Brown in 1859 with Preface by George H. Hepworth and Justin Winsor.

"This Book of Songs has been made for the use of the Church of the Unity in Boston".

The first 256 pages have songs with no music, and the last 18 pages have music only.

It is in Fair to Poor Condition with cracked front hinge, a few minor cover marks, last few blank pages with tears off the bottom, and minor wear on cover edges.
